Dr. Tashner is the son of Alvin Tashner; Potosi, WI and Florence (Hinderman/Tashner) Pahnke; Cuba City, WI. He is married to Julie (Engelke) Tashner ; Belmont, WI. Dr. Tashner has six children and lives in the rural southwest Wisconsin.
Dr. Tashner's education includes:- Graduate of Shullsburg High School, class of 1985
- Graduate of University of Wisconsin - Platteville bachelor of science degree in Zoology, class of 1989
